Kuu is a product brand for custom gemstone bracelets and other handmade items. It is a brand that encourages people to be more aware and reflect on their day to day life and appreciate what is given to them by giving back to themselves and others with meaningful healing stones.

A struggle I had was naming and creating a logo that represents the brand identity. I had a umbrella brand I wanted to connect this back to with an overall theme: the moon. At first I thought I should step away from it and create something new. But through researching potentials names and more facts about the moon I felt that it was a perfect fit. In the end I chose Kuu, meaning Moon in Finnish, to represent reflection and support (light) in the darkest hours.
